I’m Back Again
Hi, I’m back after several weeks, it is quite hard to save some time for hobbies as writing a blog since I have been obliged to work on another blogs and also I need to work.
One month ago I have been to Joao Pessoa (John the Person) – the coastal city in the North East with the lowest temerature 20 Celsius degrees as one native said. The city was amazing, population abut 1 mio habitants, almost no foreign tourists even this is gonna be changed in the near future. The airport, all the infrastructure, beatifull beaches, bars and restaurants will make this place popular. Also the fact that you are in the most eastern point in Brazil makes this place unique. The amazing architecture of Oscar Niemeyer is also here! Will post separate article about this trip.
As I was complaining how dry it is here two months ago, today it is completelly different – only rains.. The man has to be clever when thinking what to do during the day, especially when needs to go out. Usually the rain starts in the afternoon but it is quite common when is raining all day long.
Since Brasilia has very large and well located city park with many places where you can do exercise under the sky I started to take advantage of that and I’m going even to run or make same exercising there. It has several round paths from 2 to 10 km with many kiosks where you can buy “agua de coco” or another refreshments or drink a water for free or use a toilet. The park is well organized and all Brasiliense are proud of it. I can tell you brazilians like running so much so sometimes the park is so full that you feel as in the marathon run – good for motivating of weaker runners :-). Will post separate article about this park and relation of the people here to the wellness, really amazing.
As I sad it is raining quite often I go to park before the rain but the temperature at this time is not pleasant at all. But it is just about a training – usually there is about 30 degrees but couple of days ago I made a 6 km run in 40 degrees huh…Here is the proove:
Also check my results in kilometrage for the last months, I am proud of my record almost 150km in October! Only the time is my enemy 🙂

See how the security defend a football referee against the host fans known as Os Fanaticos after the end of the football match. He ordered a penalty in the 91th minute on the playground of hosts in Curitiba. The host team needed to win but after that penalty was result 1:1 so that is why “os fanaticos” wanted to fight..
Homen do Futuro
Last time I went to cinema to watch a new movie “Homen do Futuro” – A Man from the Future…Really funny comedy about travelling in the time machine and of course love, I really reccommend it to everybody!
Romantic comedy full of humour with Wagner Moura (Tropa do Elite / Ellite Squad) and Alinne Moraes. I didn’t know Wagner Moura is so good actor, he is so comedian :-)) I like this kind of brazilian humour. It deserves to be known outside of Brazil.
The director of Homen do Futuro, Claudio Torres made another comedy “Mulher Ivisivel” – Invisible woman which is also so good. I reccommend it!

Brazilian Footbal Fans
To see a brazilian footbal match is really nice experience…but it is laways better to visit it with some local friend..In 2005 went in Curitiba to see Atletico Parana club, here is some pictures:

It is neccesary to admit that to see a brazilizan home championship footbal matches is very much more fun comparing to a football league for example in Czech republic which is simply to say – very very boring.. I am starting to be a footbal fan but it is only becouse here is something to look at! Also listen to a moderators how they anjoy the game. It seems that thouse ours comment a chess game and not football…

Personal Dog
Today I watched in TV news a reportage about a kind of small businesses type of personal care. Brazilians come out with similiar jobs but they call it funny way. They start everything with a word “personal” and then just add a translated word for object of their activity. Personal care they say the same way – “personal care”..but they also have a personal home, personal car, personal dog and and who knows what else…
So here is what are these jobs about, just need to say the service can be more complex and also of very high level:
personal care = personal care
personal car = a person who takes your car for a technical inspection (…they charge apporx. 40 EUR/hour guys..)
personal home = repairer
personal dog = dog walker

OK today is footbal match Brazil x Argentina held here in Brazil, in Belem..I am going to watch it on TV..last time in Argentina it was 0:0 so vamos ver hoje :-)…
Konecne zacalo prset!
OK, do Brazilie jsem dorazil na zacatku zari 2011. Po usazeni se v Brasilia DF – hlavni mesto jsem se konecne dostal k psani blogu o mem zivote v Brazilii (mezitim jsem uz stihnul dovolenou u more, 2 tydny chripky, problemy se ztratou SIMky k mobilu, vypadek firemniho e-mailu atd..). Je toho spousta o cem psat, ale zacnu s poslednimi udalostmi a obcas se vratim zpatky v case k necemu starsimu.
Takze prvni novinka – dnes, po vice nez 100 dnech zacalo prset! Konecne! Zacalo vlastne presne o pulnoci, slyseli jsme krik spousty lidi na ulici, co vitali tenhle okamzik, protoze v poslednich dnech naprosto kazdy uz zoufale cekal na to az zacne prset. Dalsi duvod k tomu neco slavit!
Obdobi sucha bylo tak silny ze jsem musel spat s mokrym rucnikem a kyblem vody u postele. Behem dne jsem vypil hektolitry vody aniz by to na me bylo znat, ale OK, vse je za nami a dnes vidim z okna jen provazy deste. Doufam ze vsechny ty ambiciozne obrovske “zelene plochy” tady v centru mesta budou brzy opravdu zelene :-). Kazdopadne citit cerstvy vzduch a vetrik je fakt lahoda po takovem dlouhem obdobi sucha.
Tady je mapka tohohle uzasneho mesta ve tvaru letadla. Oscar Niemeyer je fakt genius. Bydlim primo v centru v pravem kridle letadla. Jmenuje se to tu Asa Sul (Jizni Kridlo). Srandovni je, ze tu neexistuji nazvy ulic, ale jen jakesi kody s cisly z cehoz jsem uplne mimo (krome me spousta turistu vcetne brazilcu odjinud), myslim ze Oscar dodnes zije o 50 let napred nekde v budoucnosti. Nase adresa je napr SQS 403 Blq E Apt 303 – AS. Ma to logiku, ale to vysvetlim pozdeji.

Finally Comes the Rain!
OK, I have been here in Brazil since the start of September 2011. After setting up me in Brasilia, DF (I aready came through holidays on the beach, two weeks illness, some problems as loosing my SIM card, company e-mail issues etc..) I can finally start to decribe everything about my life here in Brazil. Since it is a lot of what I want to say I will start to post the latest experiences and will go back in time to start of my living here from time to time.
So the first news – Today, after more than 100 days it started to rain! Finally! Actually it has started exactly in the midnight, we could hear a lot of shouting people on the street celebrating this event because everybody was desperatelly waiting for the rain during the last couple of days. So another reason to have a festa! 🙂
The dry season was so strong that I had t o sleep with a wet towell and a bucket full of water next to my bed. During the day I drunk gallons of water but without any mark it would be to know. But OK, everything has passed and today I see just a rainfall from the window. Hope all these ambicious numbers of “green” areas in the centre of Brasilia will get green soon. 🙂 Anyway the fresh air and wind makes all people more than happy after such long period of dryness.
Here is the small map of this amazing city in the shape of the plane. Oscar Niemeyer was really a genius. I live in the centre in the right wing of the plane. They call it Asa Sul (south wing). Funny thing is that here doesn’t exist street names but only short codes with numbers which make me crazy (and also other visitores even brazilians), I think Oscar lives untill today 50 years in the future. For example my address is SQS 403 Blq E Apt 303 – AS. It has a logical meaning but I will explain later.
